Aerial Cable (ASU-unitube cable, GYFY)

Description


 

Optical fibres are housed in loose tubes that are made of high-modulus plastic and filled with waterproof compounds. Loose tubes and  FRP are SZ stranded together. Water blocking yarns  are used in  the cable core to prevent it from water ingress. Polyethylene outer sheath is extruded around the cable. One  rip cord  is  used under  the  cable  sheath  to  open  it.
